Porsche-inspired electric scooter
What if Porsche designed the ultimate urban electric scooter? An independent concept exploring how automotive design language could shape a premium urban mobility experience.
Design intent
Translate the proportions, purposeful surfaces and attention to detail associated with Porsche into a different mobility platform. The study follows the idea from initial sketches and ergonomic packaging through colour, material and finish development, connected experiences and proposed engineering architecture.
The development process
- Sketch ideation, silhouette exploration and proportion studies.
- Design language refinement, colour, materials and finishes.
- Ergonomic studies and component packaging.
- Companion mobile app concepts and user experience design.
- Smart charging infrastructure and charging-status interfaces.
- Structural architecture, battery integration, assembly and manufacturing exploration.
Design priorities
- Clean, purposeful surfaces with an automotive character.
- A connected companion app for proposed ride information, navigation and security controls.
- An integrated charging ecosystem for home and mobile use.
- A lightweight aluminium, monocoque-inspired design direction.
- Suspension and braking concepts developed around the intended riding experience.
- Manufacturing, maintenance access and serviceability considered together.

Further development
The next stage would test the proposed architecture through engineering analysis and physical prototypes. Speed, range, weight, charging times, ingress protection and structural results printed on the boards are illustrative targets. The test-pass labels and analysis graphics do not establish completed testing or certification. Battery safety, braking, frame strength, connectivity and manufacturing feasibility require validation.
