POURR™

Clip. Pour. Close. A reusable clip-on pouring-spout concept exploring how one moulded component could improve pouring, grip and closure for everyday flexible packets.

The exploration

Design intent

Flexible packets are lightweight but can be awkward to pour from and difficult to close neatly. POURR explores one intelligent moulded interface that combines packet retention, a controlled flow path, pouring lip and integral closure.

Further development

Final resin selection, food-contact suitability, packet compatibility, hinge life, retention performance and sealing behaviour would require physical prototyping and validation. The boards show a proposed product architecture and intended user experience.
